Program Activities and Projects
Chi Chapter of NCDKG is actively involved in numerous projects around the community.
Our most recent projects:
Five Little Free Libraries Book Collection: Chi, along with Beta Xi, have donated 3,000 books that have been placed in the Little Free Libraries throughout High Point, NC. L.E.A.P. and Chi's goal for this literacy campaign is to bring books to children who cannot buy books. Books at all levels are welcome!
Family Justice Center Activity Bags for Children: Activity bags were assembled to help entertain the children of parents having counseling at the center.
High Point University Education Fellows Mentors: Education Fellows are students who are committed to a career in education. They apply to be a part of the “Ed Fellows” program and during their time at HPU take classes and participate in activities specially designed to support them as they complete the educator preparation program in the Stout School of Education. Chi Chapter of NCDKG support these students as mentors. They email, text, chat, and meet with their mentees throughout the school year.
